Playing with Depth

Children can make great subject, but getting them to stay still for more than a second is a tough job, let alone getting them to do something specific.

So it may not come as a surprise to say this shot was taken buy complete luck while my son was taking a breather from running around.

I was playing around with the depth of field using the grain in the wood as the subject, and then William came and sat down and put his hands in right where I was taking the photo. He may of though he was getting in my way and being funny, but it made for a great photo.
